Compensation:

• Salary Range: BDT. 30,000- BDT. 60,000 (Based on experience & qualification)
• Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies)
• Bi-Annual Performance Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies)
• 2 Times Yearly Festival Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies)

Job Overview:

We are looking for smart, dynamic, and tech-savvy candidates with a deep understanding of corporate law to join NEXT Ventures as Legal professionals. The person will play a pivotal role in guiding our legal strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate excels in negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to provide expert legal advice and navigate complex legal challenges. Job Responsibilities: 

• Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal guidance to senior management on corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, including international regulations such as GDPR, and oversee timely license renewals.
• Risk and Dispute Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, manage disputes, and liaise with external counsel as needed.
• Corporate Governance: Support board activities, prepare resolutions, and advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Intellectual Property: Protect and manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
• Employment Law: Advise on employee relations, contracts, and workplace policies to ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Real Estate and Property Disputes: Handle legal matters related to property acquisitions, leases, and real estate disputes.
• Banking and Finance Litigation: Address litigation and disputes in banking and financial matters to protect the company’s interests.
• Policy Development: Develop and update legal policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations.
• Training and Research: Conduct legal research and deliver compliance training to employees.
• Transactional and Regulatory Liaison: Oversee legal aspects of partnerships and cross-border transactions while maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Other Assigned Tasks: Undertake any additional matters or assignments as directed by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

• ​​Bar-at-Law, LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
• Accreditation from Bangladesh Bar Council is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate law, legal documentation & contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Have basic knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office packages.
• Self-motivated and a strong desire to take on new challenges.
• Well-groomed with excellent interpersonal skills.
