Job Purpose

The Head of Compliance will be fully responsible for ensuring complete compliance across the entire NEXT Group of entities globally. This includes FundedNext, the top prop trading platform, as well as the CFD Brokerage Division. This role is crucial in ensuring that all entities under the holding company meet their regulatory and legal obligations without exception. The Head of Compliance will be instrumental in developing and implementing a robust, group-wide compliance framework, monitoring regulatory adherence, and serving as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities across multiple jurisdictions. This position is critical for maintaining the integrity, legal standing, and sustainable growth of NEXT Group, driving compliance excellence across its digital FinTech ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Group-wide Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all entities under NEXT Group strictly adhere to international and local regulatory standards, including but not limited to CySEC, ASIC, MiFID II, AML/CTF regulations, and jurisdiction-specific compliance laws.
  • Develop a unified compliance framework tailored to each jurisdiction's requirements, ensuring alignment with the operational and strategic goals of each entity.
  • Keep up-to-date with new regulatory changes in every jurisdiction and ensure timely updates to internal processes and frameworks.
  • Oversee and ensure the proper acquisition, maintenance, and renewal of all necessary licenses across all global entities.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate regulatory filings and submissions globally, eliminating any risk of non-compliance.


Compliance Monitoring & Risk Assessment

  • Establish a comprehensive Compliance Monitoring Program to ensure frequent and detailed audits of operations, identifying and addressing risk exposures at every level.
  • Proactively identify compliance gaps across entities and create precise mitigation strategies with specific deadlines.
  • Evaluate third-party partnerships for regulatory compliance risks and ensure proper contracts and controls are in place.


Policy Development & Implementation

  • Create and standardize compliance manuals, policies, and procedures, customized for each jurisdiction and updated in real-time based on regulatory shifts.
  • Oversee the global implementation of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) policies, ensuring uniform application.
  • Guarantee that all policies are easily accessible, communicated thoroughly, and regularly reviewed across all global teams.


Training & Awareness

  • Design and deliver compliance training programs tailored to the needs of each entity, ensuring clarity on compliance protocols and AML/CTF requirements.
  • Establish a compliance-conscious culture by reinforcing ethical business practices and highlighting potential risks during team sessions.


Advisory & Strategic Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Leadership Team, offering proactive compliance strategies and in-depth risk assessments.
  • Provide clear, actionable guidance for compliance implications tied to new business initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, or geographical expansions.
  • Deliver practical solutions for adapting quickly to complex, changing regulatory environments globally.


Liaison with Regulatory Authorities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for regulatory bodies in every jurisdiction, ensuring direct communication and swift resolution of issues.
  • Manage all regulatory inquiries and audits with precision and efficiency, safeguarding the reputation and integrity of the organization.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting obligations to ensure every entity’s adherence to submission deadlines and content accuracy.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performance global compliance team, with clear KPIs and regular performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to ensure compliance team members are aligned with global and jurisdiction-specific standards.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement of compliance knowledge, team capabilities, and operational efficiency.


Key Requirements
 

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of verifiable experience in senior compliance roles, including multinational or multi-entity compliance oversight.
  • Extensive expertise in navigating and implementing compliance frameworks for the EU, US, UAE, Asia, and other regulated markets.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as CySEC, ASIC, SLA, MiFID II, AML/CTF, and other international compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale compliance operations across multiple geographies and cultures.
