Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: BDT 40,000 - BDT 70,000
• Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Software Engineer II (Backend) with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications and backend services. Your role will involve working on complex software solutions, mentoring junior team members, and driving quality and efficiency in code development. You should have a deep understanding of backend systems, architecture, and a track record of delivering high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Lead the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, with a focus on security and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging backend applications and databases.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and code reviews to ensure high coding standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, architectural decisions, and the overall development roadmap.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Expertise in object-oriented design, database design, and XML schema.
• Experience with agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.

Experience:

• 3+ years of work experience in PHP and the Laravel framework.
