Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: BDT 70,000 - BDT 110,000
• Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies)

Job Overview:

The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for ensuring the organization’s digital assets remain secure and resilient against emerging threats. This role involves proactively monitoring, detecting, and mitigating cyber risks, performing vulnerability assessments, and collaborating across teams to address security incidents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to implement and improve security measures while fostering a culture of cyber vigilance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Leverage automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency in incident response and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to address security incidents and align processes.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate potential risks before exploitation.
• Generate monthly reports for record-keeping and remediation.
• Identify security weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM and XDR tools.
• Be vigilant against exposures to cyber attacks or data leakage.
• Handle security cases effectively and efficiently.
• Detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement mitigation strategies.
• Focus on improving MTTD and MTTR metrics.
• Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems.
• Generate detailed reports to identify gaps.
• Implement appropriate measures to close security gaps.
• Provide threat intelligence insights and stay updated on threat landscapes.
• Build awareness among employees about potential cyber risks.
• Detect threats and take proactive actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficient in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with SIEM, XDR, and other security monitoring tools.
• Experience in digital forensics and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of security protocols and standards.
• Team player with good emotional intelligence.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and relevant cybersecurity tools.

Experience:

• At least 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis.
