Job Overview:

The Lead, IT & Cybersecurity is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive cybersecurity framework to protect the organization’s assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This position demands a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership, managing budgets, overseeing incident response, and fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a company-wide cybersecurity framework and strategy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align cybersecurity strategy with business objectives and ensure board-level reporting.
• Manage cybersecurity budgets, including forecasting and resource allocation, to optimize spending.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with third-party vendors and supply chain partners.
• Establish policies and procedures to protect company assets.
• Continuously assess and improve the cybersecurity posture.
• Ensure compliance with standards like ISO27001 and PCI DSS or similar.
• Oversee audits and certifications.
• Maintain documentation and evidence of compliance.
• Lead incident response and recovery plans focusing on MTTD and MTTR metrics.
• Develop and maintain incident response protocols.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams during security incidents.
• Manage cybersecurity training programs and secure coding practices for employees.
• Increase the percentage of employees trained in cybersecurity.
• Implement ongoing education and awareness initiatives.
• Reduce the number of critical vulnerabilities.
• Oversee patch management processes.
• Monitor vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Proven experience in incident response and recovery planning.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and other relevant cybersecurity tools.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
