Compensation:

  • Salary Range: BDT 35,000 - BDT 50,000
  • Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies).
  • 2 Times Yearly Festival Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies).

Job Overview:

The Chargeback Analyst plays a crucial role to fight back against chargebacks which are raised against the incoming payments to the company. They will be the first line of defense against chargeback and fraudulent payment activities by conducting proactive risk assessments.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay sharp by updating chargeback records and monitoring PSP risk ratios to keep risks at bay.
  • Be the first line of defense against fraudulent payment activities by conducting proactive risk assessments.
  • Own dispute and chargeback resolutions by submitting all necessary documents to close cases with confidence.
  • Keep the team ahead of the game by sharing the latest insights on payment industry risks, especially with Payment Partnership Managers.
  • Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to resolve chargebacks and fix payment issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Investigate chargeback trends, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures to minimize future disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and fraud prevention, to develop strategies for reducing chargebacks and improving approval ratios.
  • Ensure compliance with chargeback policies and regulatory guidelines while maintaining detailed documentation of dispute resolutions.


Education & Experience:

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Computer Science (CSE) from any reputed institution.
  • 0.5-2 years of experience in a relevant field will receive priority.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Have basic knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office packages.
  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to take on new challenges.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment.
