Compensation:

  • Salary Range: BDT 45,000 - BDT 55,000
  • Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies)
  • Bi-Annual Performance Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies)
  • 2 Times Yearly Festival Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Executive, Global Accounting to manage financial reconciliations, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee financial risk management. You will play a key role in preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and guiding junior staff. This position offers the chance to work with cross-functional teams, drive performance, and ensure adherence to global accounting standards like GAAP and IFRS. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily reconciliations of financial accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
  • Oversee the Financial Risk Management (FRM) processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and local/international regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for management review.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide actionable insights on business performance, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health and business performance.
  • Oversee the integrity and accuracy of general ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded according to accounting standards.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounting entries are completed on time and in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closing of financial periods, including providing necessary guidance on closing procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international accounting standards, including IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations.
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, and update internal processes to maintain compliance.
  • Stay updated with new financial technologies and tools, recommending enhancements to existing systems for better performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members in day-to-day financial operations, providing leadership and fostering professional development.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure team members adhere to deadlines and deliverables.


Education:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance from a reputable University.
  • Priority will be given to CA CC from a reputed CA Firm.


Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting systems, and regulatory compliance.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have the proficiency at QuickBooks, Xero accounting software.
  • Priority will be given to CA CC from a reputed CA Firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have basic knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office packages.
  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to take on new challenges.
  • Well-groomed with excellent interpersonal skills.
