Job Overview:

NEXT Ventures Ltd. is looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented compliance professional to join our Finance & Audit team as an Executive, Global Regulatory Compliance. This role is critical for ensuring adherence to fiscal regulations across multiple jurisdictions, covering areas such as corporate tax, VAT, payroll compliance, and cross-border regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax filings, regulatory risk assessments, and driving strategic compliance initiatives. This position requires someone with sound technical knowledge, analytical rigor, and the ability to collaborate across global finance and legal teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Global Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with corporate tax laws across various jurisdictions
• Prepare and submit tax filings including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing documentation
• Maintain detailed records of tax liabilities, payments, and refunds
• Support tax audits and manage communication with tax authorities
• Stay updated on global BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) regulations

VAT & Indirect Tax Compliance

• Manage VAT/GST registration, reporting, and submissions across countries
• Handle reverse charge mechanisms, input VAT claims, and reconciliation
• Perform VAT risk assessments and recommend compliance strategies
• Evaluate VAT implications on international transactions

Regulatory & Compliance Monitoring

• Monitor financial regulatory changes impacting the organization
• Ensure compliance with relevant GAAP/IFRS standards in various regions
• Oversee licenses, permits, and local compliance filings
• Coordinate with legal teams to manage and mitigate regulatory risks
• Support both internal and external audits

Risk Assessment & Process Improvement

• Identify potential tax and compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Assist in compliance process automation and internal policy formation
• Conduct periodic compliance gap analyses and process evaluations

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with finance, legal, and operations to ensure compliance alignment
• Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Support compliance-related training and knowledge-sharing across teams

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law
• CA CC from a reputed CA firm is mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in global tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and compliance tools is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of international tax laws, VAT frameworks, and compliance protocols
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and filing
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills for liaising with authorities and internal teams
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and regulatory software
