The Global Talent Acquisition Lead is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the organization's recruitment strategies on a global scale. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy to meet the organization’s current and future staffing needs.
Partner with senior leadership to forecast workforce demands, identify talent gaps, and align recruitment initiatives with organizational priorities.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within recruitment practices, fostering a diverse and adaptable workforce.
Drive workforce planning initiatives, with a focus on critical roles, long-term hiring strategies, and emerging talent trends.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters to achieve hiring goals while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
Establish clear objectives, track team performance metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire), and drive continuous improvement.
Build a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring team members are equipped with the skills and tools needed to excel.
Recruitment Operations and Data-Driven Insights:
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring timely delivery of hiring needs with a focus on quality.
Collaborate with hiring managers to design tailored sourcing strategies, effective interview frameworks, and candidate evaluation processes.
Leverage data analytics to refine recruitment strategies, identify hiring trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Optimize recruitment tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), to enhance usability, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
Employer Branding and Talent Pipeline Development:
Build and enhance the organization's employer brand by collaborating with marketing and communications teams.
Launch initiatives such as university partnerships, internship programs, and alumni networks to establish long-term talent pipelines.
Represent the organization at global career fairs, industry events, and conferences to elevate visibility and attract top-tier talent.
Candidate Experience and Retention Collaboration:
Ensure a seamless, equitable, and engaging experience for candidates at every stage of the recruitment process.
Proactively gather candidate feedback to improve the recruitment journey and address potential barriers.
Partner with Talent Management teams to develop strategies for retention, internal mobility, and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 7+ years in talent acquisition, with a focus on global hiring and leading recruitment teams in fast-paced environments.
Strategic Expertise: Demonstrated success in workforce planning, employer branding, and data-driven recruitment strategies.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire recruitment teams to achieve performance excellence.
Global Acumen: In-depth understanding of international hiring practices, sourcing techniques, and recruitment compliance.
Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruitment analytics tools.
DEI Practices: Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in talent acquisition.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a multinational environment with a focus on scalability and cross-cultural collaboration.
Familiarity with advanced candidate evaluation methodologies like Topgrading.
Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to translate insights into actionable hiring strategies.
Expertise in compensation benchmarking and competitive market analysis.
